Welcome to Home Inspection eXperts. We have been providing professional home inspection services since 1989.
A Home Inspection eXperts home inspection includes a thorough inspection of all areas of your new home. We use have been using The HomeBook reporting system since we began inspecting homes in 1989. We will help you make an intelligent, informed decision on the purchase of your new home.
Our inspection report is divided into the following areas:
| Structure | Electrical | Interior | Exterior |
| Heating and Air Conditioning | Basement - Crawlspace - Slab | Kitchen |
There are dozens of major and minor problems outlined in each section of our report along with the what, why and best fix solutions for each one. Along with problems discovered in your house, we will outline the components that make up your home along with the maintenance required and the life expectancy for each component.
By definition, a home inspector looks for problems with your home. By that, we mean a device, system, or component in your home that is not functioning as intended. A major problem either poses an immediate safety hazard, or would cost $500 or more to repair properly. We also inform you of the life expectancies of the major components of your house.
An important thing to remember when you are shopping for your home - NO HOME IS PERFECT. We will likely find some problems during our inspection. Many will be minor - some may be major. It is up to you to decide what you are willing to tackle and or live with. For example, fifty year old homes will likely have fifty year old electrical systems that are not as robust as those found in newer homes. Yet, millions of people live very happily in these homes everyday.
